WHY Use Back on Track Equine
Therapy?
... Our Story

What was the inspiration that lead to the creation of Back on Track Equine Therapy?
It all started with a horse named Posh. One night, Posh escaped her stall and tore both superficial digital flexor tendon and deep digital flexor tendon in her front leg. To make matters more challenging, Posh was pregnant at the time—and giving up on her was not an option.
During her recovery, Kendra found herself wishing there was a single place where Posh could receive all the rehabilitation care she needed. Instead, multiple practitioners had to be scheduled—chiropractic, cold laser therapy, red light therapy, massage, strengthening exercises, and more. That experience sparked the realization that Arizona needed a true one-stop-shop for equine therapy and rehabilitation.
With over seven years of experience in the veterinary field, Kendra has become passionate about equine bodywork and rehabilitation. She is certified in Equine Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Neuro Myo-fascial Release, Kinesiology Taping, Cold Laser, PEMF, and Western Saddle Fitting. Kendra has dedicated her career to supporting horses—alongside veterinarians and other equine specialists—through therapy and recovery. Over the years, she has had the privilege of working with hotblood, warmblood, and coldblood breeds: equine athletes, senior companions, rescue cases, and horses who are fearful, anxious, or aggressive.
Every session is carefully tailored to meet the needs of each horse, with the goal of improving mobility and balance, restoring comfort and strength, and promoting long-term soundness and success.

...Optimizing Your Saddle Fit with Saddle Pressure Sensor Mapping Technology
Saddle Pressure Mapping is a cutting-edge technology used to objectively measure and analyze the pressure distribution between the saddle and the horse’s back, as well as between the saddle and the rider. By utilizing a network of highly sensitive pressure sensors embedded within a mat, the mat is placed directly under the saddle and the sensors record pressure changes across various points where the saddle makes contact with both the horse's back and the rider’s seat. This technology delivers in real-time, data-based analysis of how pressure from the saddle is being distributed on your horse's back during the ride.

This scientific tool is an invaluable resource in the pursuit of optimal saddle fit, allowing for detailed analysis and precise adjustments to ensure the comfort, health, and performance of both horse and rider.

The collected data from the mat processes and displays a visual format of where there are areas of high pressure and low pressure. Red means extremely high pressure, dark blue means minimal pressure. We can then see where your saddle is putting pressure on your horse's back. This visual representation allows us to identify areas of concern that could be causing discomfort, pain, or injury to your horse.
Not only does this data help determine how the saddle is affecting the horse, but this technology also provides critical insight from the rider’s perspective and can show how the rider's seat is interacting with the saddle. By analyzing how the rider’s bodyweight is distributed in the seat, we can help identify whether the rider is too far forward, backward, or off-center, which could affect their balance, performance, and comfort during the ride. We can then suggest a seat style or fit that may be better for the rider, leading to a more balanced rider and horse.

...PEMF Powered by PULSE
Some of the distinctive settings of PULSE that make it comparable to other PEMF companies include:

Stronger and more powerful pulses: leads to quicker results

Square waveform: best for deeper pulsing
Dynamic pulsing patterns: the horse doesn't become desensitized to the same pattern, the pattern changes throughout the session.
Highly Adjustable settings: PULSE offers more than just a low-medium-high intensity. It features precision dials that allow for fine adjustments, enabling customization to meet the specific preferences for both horses and people.
